Introduction to Photobook 


  • Our Photobook feature allows your clients to upload their travel photos to the app, creating a digital diary of their experience


  • You have the option to cover the costs of the books, offering them to your clients as gifts, or to have your clients pay themselves. Either way, they can preview and order their books directly from the app


  • The feature itself is really easy to use, and we’ve prepared some recommended comms to help you introduce it


  • Overall, implementing the feature involves minimal work on your part, but really elevates your client’s post-travel experience and encapsulates their trip memories into a beautiful book!







Adding photos & captions



  • Then your clients can upload images and notes directly to the posts section within the app, both during and after their holiday (they can also add photos via WebVamoos)


  • They can take images directly in the app, or upload them from their camera roll to the relevant day of the trip






TOP TIP: Why not rename the 'Posts' section to 'Photobook'? You can do this in the Menu & Labels section





Previewing the Photobook


  • Once your client has added all their photos/notes, their photobook will be automatically generated. There's no laborious building process, they can preview it instantly!


  • From the app: just press the shopping trolley icon in the top-right-hand corner of the Posts/Photobook section (the icon will only show if you choose to enable this for your company, please contact us to do so)




  • From the web: Go to the Photobook ordering site at photobook.vamoos.com and enter the User ID & Passcode of the trip to preview your book




Customising the Photobook


  • Moving and deleting images: you can do this by logging into the trip on the Vamoos app or on Web Vamoos and pressing the 3 dots next to the post. Photos can be moved up or down the list or even to other days






  • Consider shortening some of the text: Sometimes text can spill over to the next page, consider editing this on the app and then checking how it looks by refreshing the Photobook ordering site


  • Including storyboard images: There is an option on the Photobook ordering site to tick whether you’d like storyboard images for each day to be included or not





TOP TIP: storyboard images always sit on the right hand side. If there is a blank page before this, consider adding an additional image to the previous day to fill this page





Ordering, postage and payment


  • Once you are happy with the Photobook preview, you can press the ‘Order Now’ button to complete the order, enter the delivery address & pay





  • We currently deliver to the UK, EU and US. A full list of supported countries can be found on our ordering page and in the FAQ’s below


  • Standard cost is £30 for the first 20 pages, then £1 per page after that up to a maximum of 120 pages (plus postage)


  • We are offering discounts & commissions to Vamoos Partners, get in touch for full details.


  • Payment Option A - Give a free book to your clients
    You can choose to cap the number of books that can be ordered from each trip. There will be an option to do this yourself in the portal, but for now, just contact us with your choice. Your clients can then order their book via the shopping trolley icon in the app, and wont have to pay – we’ll invoice you for these at the end of the month, including a discount off list price. (Note these are a maximum of 120 pages long).


  • Payment Option B - Your clients order directly from us

    Your clients can order from us directly, and enter their delivery address & payment details on the photobook ordering site. We will pay you commission as money off your Vamoos subscription.

2. Send out comms announcing the new feature to your clients.

  • We’ve prepared an email template to help you with this and a how-to photobook guide for you to add to the Documents section of the app. 
  • We've also prepared some fixed photobook notifications which we can add to every trip on your account, reminding your clients to post their photos and order their book.

  • Q: Is the book branded to our company?
    A: Yes! Your logo will be front and centre. 


  • Q: Does the book include our images as well as our clients’ images?
    A: Yes! The front cover is your chosen homepage image with your logo at the top. The images you choose for each day of the storyboard also feature in the book as title pages for photos posted on each day of the trip, it's optional for these to be included in the printed book. 


  • Q: What about the privacy of my clients’ images?
    A: As has always been the case with the Posts section, you should not view these images without asking your clients' permission. 


  • Q: Can clients choose which of the posted photos go in the printed book?
    A: Yes! Clients can move or delete photos on the app or WebVamoos before the printed book is ordered.


  • Q: How much does it cost?

    A: The maximum number of pages is 120. 


  • Q: How many photos can I add per page?
    A: The photobook is automatically generated, with one photo per page alongside its' corresponding note.

    A: Currently, the Vamoos Photobook is available for delivery to the following countries:
