Mobile optimise your PDFs

For travel companies   For hotels

As the app is going to be the primary place your clients view their PDFs, it's essential to make them mobile-friendly. We've all experienced the frustration of pinching to zoom into tiny text on a phone, or endlessly turning the orientation to try to make the text fit better on your screen.

Making a PDF mobile-friendly is really easy, so we've put together a quick checklist to help you provide a better user experience for your customers.

Mobile friendly PDF checklist

When designing your PDFs, make sure they are:

1. Portrait Orientation

2. A4 size or, even better 1280 x 720 px

3. Use bold text and size 30pt font for headers

4. Use size 26 pt. for paragraph text

5. Use single columns of text where possible & a simple layout

6. Use clear fonts that are easy to read (e.g. Arial or Helvetica)

If you follow all these steps, you can create beautiful PDFs to show off your expert knowledge without compromising on user experience.
