When you create your property, start by filling out the General Section. Here you can add key information & fill out the home screen of the app

Here are some examples of how the home screen looks on the app:
Creating your property
- Go to Vamoos List in the top menu bar, then select Vamoos Stays and press the orange Create Stay button
- Then you will see a menu down the left-hand side, please select General at the top
User ID
- The first thing to do is fill out the User ID, this is the piece of information your guests will use to log in to their property information in the app.
- User ID - will stay the same for all your guests, and you choose this when you create an account (typically it will be the property name)
General information
- You can insert your Property name in the required box
- The next field Home Description corresponds to the text shown on the home screen of the app (see screenshot above)
- You can see a preview of the text on the right-hand side of the screen
TOP TIP: Do not add additional spaces to these fields, this text will auto-centre to look the best
You can then start adding in your contact information. This will be displayed on the Property Info Button on the app
Insert your contact phone number and contact email
Add your website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
TOP TIP: When adding the website and social media links, you must add the prefix 'https://' followed by your website or social media address.
Background image
- Choose the perfect image for your app home screen by pressing the Add Image button on the right-hand side of the screen
- You can then either upload an image from your computer or select one from your Vamoos Library (if you have added imagery in there)
- Images must be file type jpg, jpeg or png and the recommended size is 2048 x 2048 px. Read our top tips on choosing the perfect images here
Email login settings
- You have the option to make it mandatory that your guests insert their email addresses when they login to the app
- To do this, make sure the Mandate Email Login switch is turned on
- If you have this turned on, your guests will have to insert their name, email address and check-in/check-out dates
- If you have this turned off, your guests will be able to skip and not insert their information
Check-in time: countdown timer
- Select the check-in time for your bookings - this will make the countdown timer on the home screen work
Login Messages
- Insert an email to the Login Messages field to get notified when someone logins into your property on the app
- You can also make sure that anyone who is an admin on your account receives the login notifications
- To do this, make sure the Automatically Include account administrators switch is turned on
Add your property address with the coordinates
- You can add your property address manually using the coordinates
Add your property address from Google Maps
- You will see a map (integrated with Google Maps API) and a box saying 'Search location' above the map
- Type in the location that you are looking for in the search box above the map, and select the correct one from the dropdown list
The location will then be shown on the map, please press Copy to field to add the address for the property
- You will then see the address for the property has been added
- Press SAVE to save your changes
Property info button
- The property's information can be found as the final icon on the app home screen
- You can choose to call the icon a name, or simply call it Info by typing in the box
- You can also choose a different icon from the default icon
- To change the icon, click on the icon box and pick from the list shown
Overlay Logo
- Here, you can upload your property logo if it is different from your logo added into Settings
- Simply press Add Image and upload your logo (it must be a jpg, jpeg or png file type)
Vamoos listing information
- You can add some more information about your property that will be available to your guests on the Property Info button
- This information will be also available to Tour Operators who use the Vamoos app if you choose it to be
- You can add both a short and long description of your property
- Insert the number of rooms in the property
- Next, you will be able to select the features that your property has
- To choose a feature, check the box next to the feature and an orange tick will appear
- You can also set a Top 4 to make some of your features stand out
- To do this press the Set Top 4 button
- You can then select the top 4 features
- Press SAVE
TOP TIP: remember to press the orange SAVE button once you have completed a section!
