Documents

  • For Travel Documents, upload information about the yacht, such as meet the crew, contact info, a skipper guide, activities for rent, food and drinks menus, onboard amenities, and safety tips.

  • Under Destination Documents, provide information about the planned destinations, including city guides, restaurant recommendations, packing lists, and any other information that will help clients as they travel from port to port.

Top Tip: Did you know you can rename the document sections to something yacht-specific under Shared > Menus & Labels? More info here.

Locations

  • When adding locations, set the primary locations as each port where the yacht will dock. This will show clients the exact spot where they will arrive and depart from.

Top Tip: Make a GPX track for each port you will be sailing to and from, as these are great visual additions to the map. Here is our user guide on how to make GPX tracks.

  • For Points of Interest (POIs), set the range at 10km to 30km. Use POIs to provide clients with plenty of local recommendations, such as dining, museums, theatres, historical sites, parks, beaches, and more.

Storyboard

  • When creating your Storyboard, there are two options for trips without a specific, day-to-day itinerary.

  • For the first option, create yacht-based information frames. Go into further detail about the crew, yacht amenities, room and safety details, and dining and services on board.

  • For the second option, add destination-based frames for each planned stop. Provide information about each city and include local recommendations and, if applicable, a loose schedule.

  • For trips with a set itinerary, use the create Storyboard frames with schedules and details for each day of the trip.

Notifications

  • Utilise Notifications to inform clients of upcoming scheduled events and bookings, especially when they are off the boat.

  • You can also use notifications to send quick links to your travellers. Begin clients' off-boat days with a notification that links a city guide, recommendations, and any other helpful sites.

Top Tip: Schedule a notification one to two days after a trip has concluded with a linked feedback form to easily gather client opinions.

Inspirations

  • When creating your Inspiration, feature voyages you have on offer for the next yachting season. If clients are on a May trip, promote your upcoming winter excursions. Include details about the yacht itself as well.

  • Inspirations can also be utilised to promote and upsell services and amenities that are available for purchase aboard the yacht, as the feature has an instant contact button. Highlight dining options, watersports, spa services, and more.
